Easy Jet is fabulous. For a mere 40 euros, you can go pretty much anywhere they fly in Europe round trip. I recently went to the UK with my two children to visit "unis" for my daughter who is off to university next fall. We flew into Gatwick and drove from Brighton all the way up to Edinburgh. Whew! Only had one scary moment of driving on the left on the last day. I was tired and took the off ramp of the freeway as opposed to the on ramp! No one honked at me. I had a cardiac arrest, but managed to eventually get the car in reverse and get to the on ramp.
Here are some photos.
