Tell No One (Ne le dis à personne ), a brilliant 2006 film by French Director/Actor, Guillaume Canet. It is based upon Harlan Coben's New York Times Bestseller of the same name.
The blending of American and French cultures creates wonderful things.
The blending of American and French cultures creates wonderful things.
The film won 4 Césars, including Best Director for Guillaume and Best Actor for François Cluzet.
The film also stars one of my favorite Anglophone/French actresses, Kristen Scott Thomas. (See my blog) psss, I adore her!
I think that Guillaume did such a great job writing the script, taking it from an American backdrop to a French one. It works. Its very believable.
A great Interview with Guillaume Canet, in English. What a nice guy! (I had no idea he was in the film The Beach with Leo! You've come a long way, baby!)
Guillaume Canet has acted in 44 films, directed 7, written 5 and produced 1. Pretty impressive for someone born in 1973, non? His latest film is entitled, Little White Lies (Les petits mouchoirs), a huge hit in France. Again starring François Cluzet as well as Guillaume's wife, Marion Cotillard (whom you know from Inception as well as the Edith Piaf film--see my blog--La Vie En Rose).
Voila! Gros bisous d'intrigue et mystère et a demain!
Love, Charley
