2012 Quarry Unlimited - #15 Texas Rangers Part 1

Here we are at the end of the first half of the countdown at #15 with the Texas Rangers.  Other than maybe the Mariners, I don't think there was a single team I cared less about as a kid than the Rangers.  In 1985, they didn't really have any standout players at least in my eyes.  That is not a problem anymore since they have a known "name player" at just about every position.  I think my biggest problem with the Rangers has always been their color choice of red and blue.  The problem that I see is that teams should be red OR blue.  They don't really work well together because each of them want to be the main color.  Texas still has that problem because sometimes they have a red cap and sometimes they have a blue cap.  They need to pick one and run with it as the primary, blue would be my choice as you will see by the team color change I made.  Let's check out some trivia and the first half of the 2012 Texas Rangers.

If I were a Rangers fan...

Title of the blog - In the Eyes of a Ranger

Favorite Player (current) - Ian Kinsler

Favorite Player (all time) - Ruben Sierra

Least Favorite Player (current) - Adrian Beltre

Least Favorite Player (all time) - Jose Canseco

2012 Texas Rangers Total Cards = 40

As I mentioned earlier, the Rangers are the 3rd team that I made a color change on.  This particular color change was odd because of the color scheme that I mentioned earlier.  The majority of these photos look better with the dark blue that I changed to, but there are some that would have looked better with the original red shown below.  That's the problem with this team in a nutshell.

Thanx for reading.
