After much deliberation, I have narrowed down my top three books of 2012. There were a few other books that became instant favourites, but these three had the most impact.
A Study in Scarlet by Arthur Conan Doyle {REVIEW},
& The Land of Stories by Chris Colfer {REVIEW}
2012 was an interesting year of reading for me. I tried out new genres and, because of my internship with a literary agent, spent quite a bit of time in the last few months reading manuscripts. For next year, I've decided not to set a number goal (for 2012, I met my goal of 50 books - you can see the full list on my Goodreads account). Instead, I want to continue reading new genres - including non-fiction books.
I received some books as gifts over the holidays. These will help me get started in the new year. What do you plan on reading in 2013?
