The Jurancon wine originates from the Atlantic Pyrenees--the Basque country. It is a sweet wine, similar in many ways to a good Sauterne. You can drink it tres chilled for aperatif, with fois gras, with fish from the Atlantic coast and, bien sur, with a good quality Roquefort cheese. Voila!
Chin, chin! (That means cheers)
Groses bisous et a demain.
Love, Charley
